International Board of Advisors
Three global leaders advise YRUD: they give strategic guidance and make introductions. They are not a governing board and hold no operational or financial authority — every decision, and every shilling, stays with Justin and the YRUD team in Nakivale.
What the board is for
The YRUD International Board of Advisors:
- provides strategic guidance
- connects YRUD with global networks
- strengthens institutional capacity
- supports innovative, community-driven solutions that promote self-reliance, dignity and sustainable development for refugees
Advice, introductions and capacity — not governance. YRUD is refugee-led, and the authority over programmes and money is not shared.
